Located in the Nachlaot section of Jerusalem, Sulam Yaakov is a new and innovative program to train leaders who are people of mind and spirit, able to serve as a spiritual resource in the personal dimension of people’s lives. Their leaders build relationships to many sectors of community, bringing with them models of inspiration and wisdom of Torah.
The Caravans serve as an opportunity for short shlichut, an internship directly and personally supervised by Rav Aaron Leibowitz, Founder and Master Teacher , a former officer in the Israeli Army who is known to impart the meaning and relevance of Torah from an open, warm and genuine place.
Sulam Yaakov is a program of the Yad Yaakov organization which is under the direction of Rabbi Yosef (Joseph) Leibowitz.
